In the past, evidence was collected by investigators and stored at their home or within a small, rented out storage bin. The subsequent evidence exam consisted of setting up a folding table inside their garage or storage bin with the evidence being placed on the table for photographs and examination. X-ray, microscopy and an array of tools were non-existent
